Moho 13 adds better integration between 3D objects and 2D elements. Why I don’t know but I assume it is to distance the software from being seen as only an anime / manga program, and instead target the broader animation market. Users can organize actions by creating groups, subgroups, and tags. Now, this version actually takes the software back to its roots, as it was first launched in 1999 as Moho, then changed to Anime Studio Pro in the intervening years, and has now come full circle to reclaim the old name.

Moho also can animate bitmaps frame by frame, letting users work by a traditional animator’s workflow.
Adding a bitmap workflow like this will make it easier to draw and add texture to your characters and objects. The animation app now gets a new freehand brush tool as part of its new bitmap drawing capabilities.
